Eight from Uxbridge make provincial Sunshine List

Eight employees of the township of Uxbridge are listed on the 2024 Sunshine List, a compilation of all Ontario public sector employees who earned more than $100,000. Last week, in a story about town council remuneration, the Cosmos quoted some 2022 Sunshine List numbers - the numbers cited here are from the list that was released last Friday, and are more accurate.

Leading the way in Uxbridge is Chief Administrative Officer Kristi Honey with a listed salary in 2023 of $180,885.

Four employees received identical salaries of $145,236: clerk Debbie Leroux, public works director Ben Kester, development services director Kyle Rainbow and Culture and recreation director Amanda Ferraro.

Treasurer Tobi Lee was reported to have received $144,500. Bill Rynard, also in public works, received $105,400.

Fire chief Mike MacDonald rounded out the Uxbridge list with a salary of $144,201.

None of the salaries quoted here include benefits.
