This week, council approved two new four-way stops at dangerous intersections on Concession 6, adjusted procurement rules to keep the new animal shelter project moving, and supported a grant application for expanded seniors’ wellness programming. Letters and editorials contain lively discussion about stop signs, winter road salting and its impact on pets, and accountability in local politics. There’s also a call to participate in the annual Audubon Christmas Bird Count, and the Uxbridge Bruins reclaim first place with a strong weekend on the ice.
