Celebration of the Arts features popular local jazz musicians

Put the exceptional music teacher from Uxbridge Secondary School on a stage with a top-rated local songstress, and you have the makings for a great evening of music.

The Celebration of the Arts is presenting singer Whitney Ross-Barris and instrumentalist Amy Peck in an “Evening of Jazz” next Thursday, Oct. 17.

The duo will be accompanied by the USS Third Avenue Jazz Ensemble, which Peck conducts.

Organizers say that this event is not only a night of “exceptional music,” but is also a fundraiser for Celebration of the Arts. “By attending, you will be supporting our mission of promoting and celebrating the arts in our community.”
