Clarification

A story in the May 2 edition of the Cosmos entitled “When one chamber closes, another opens” relayed that the Uxbridge Chamber of Commerce (IUXCC) had posted on Facebook that it was closing, with “no further explanation for the seemingly sudden announcement made.”

UXCC says that it made the decision to close because of, according to a letter it sent out to its membership via email, “lack of engagement and the need for the membership to participate in activities and events.”
