Region looking to residents for input on 2025 Strategic Plan

Residents throughout the Region of Durham are invited to offer input on the Region’s 2025 Strategic Plan.

According to a news release from the Region earlier this week, work is currently underway to develop the 2025 Strategic Plan, which will guide the direction of the Region’s work over the next few years.

“Durham Region’s 2025 Strategic Plan will outline how we will deliver a sustainable future for our Region through leadership, collaboration, innovation and environmental stewardship,” says the release.

This input can be given online at durham.ca/StratPlan2025, and should take approximately 5 - 10 minutes to complete. Responses are anonymous.

Elementary and secondary school students are also invited to submit an entry to a regional art contest. Students are invited to share their vision for the future of Durham Region. Art can be submitted online through the same website as the survey, at durham.ca/StratPlan2025.

Both the “Design Our Future” contest and the Strategic Plan Community Survey are open online now until March 31.
