Suspects sought after Goodwood shooting
Durham Regional Police say they are searching for suspects after a residence was shot in Goodwood last week.
According to a police release, early last Friday morning, members of North Division responded to a shooting in the area of Deer Ridge Road and Goodwood Road. The suspects were inside a vehicle and opened fire on a residence before fleeing the area. Officers arrived on scene and located a number of shell casings. The front of the residence and garage were struck by several bullets.
The releases notes that no occupants of the residence sustained any physical injuries.
At this time, investigators believe this to be an isolated incident and that there is no risk to public safety.
