A swing for Zephyr

In a report to council on Monday, director of community services Amanda Ferraro announced that the township received an anonymous donation which called for increasing playground swings in rural parks, "and Zephyr was selected to be the first recipient of this initiative."

She said a recent open house at the Zephyr Community Hall saw "an overwhelming request for a swing that accommodated multiple children at one time."  Council approved her recommendation that a survey be sent out to the Zephyr community with three different options of swings to be installed in 2024. The report aid the cost should be below $25,000.
