Art in the Park helps Dog Guides of Canada

Many of the artists & craftspeople who participate in the Uxbridge Lions annual Art in the Park donate to the Silent Auction, which will be in the large beige tent this weekend, Aug. 17 & 18. All money raised from the Silent Auction goes to support Dog Guides of Canada. Last year, through generous donations from artists, the Lions Club raised over $4,000. Uxbridge Lions Club & Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides’ mission is “to empower Canadians with disabilities to navigate their world with confidence & independence by providing Dog Guides at no cost to them and supporting each pair in their journey together.”
