Seedy Saturday at the Uxbridge Library

The streets may be mired in snow, but the Uxbridge Library is getting ready for Spring!

This Saturday, March 1, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., the library is officially kicking off the growing season by opening the Seed Library. The Seed Library hash hundreds of seeds looking for a good home - flowers, vegetables, and fruit seeds available.

The library will also be launching its Seed Library lecture series, and its first guest will be Sara May. May is a PhD who will speak about plant genetics, which are reportedly a gardener's secret weapon!

Everyone is invited to join this insightful session on unlocking the potential of your seeds, choosing some seeds from the Seed Library, getting a head start on the season and “cultivating success!”
