Three neighbourhoods join forces for food bank

Submitted by Doreen Cunneen

Neighbours help neighbours, and three Uxbridge neighbourhoods took this to the next level as they came together last Saturday, doing a food drive for the Uxbridge Loaves and Fishes food bank.

Residents from Winding Trail, The Glens at Fred Barnard Way, and Wooden Sticks Estates, according to volunteer Doreen Cunneen, performed an “overwhelming display of generosity” when a small team of volunteers from each of the three nieghbourhoods collected donations of urgently needed items. Williamson Uxbridge provided a pick-up truck to deliver the donations to the food bank.
