Uxbridge had to say goodbye to one of its beloved Elgin Pond swans this week, and we provide a brief update. A public meeting regarding a large subdivision didn’t give the public or council the information they wanted. A new hockey club in town has put an unusual request to council (and Roger Varley has something to say about it), the food bank is heading into a super busy time and could use all the help it can get, and this Saturday is World News Day!
